01

Broadband Connection

LTE and fixed wireless broadband for homes and businesses.

What broadband services does Eye Intuition offer?

We provide LTE broadband and fixed wireless broadband solutions, depending on coverage, site conditions and the package selected. Our aim is to provide a practical connection for everyday internet use, work, learning and business operations.

What is the difference between LTE and fixed wireless broadband?

LTE uses a mobile network and a compatible SIM-enabled router or device. Fixed wireless broadband uses a wireless link between a customer's premises and network infrastructure, commonly with outdoor radio equipment. The appropriate option depends on availability and your requirements.

Is fibre available in my area?

Our local connectivity offering focuses on LTE and fixed wireless broadband. Fibre availability is not guaranteed. Contact us with your address or location so we can advise which options may be available to you.

How do I know which package or speed I need?

It depends on how many people or devices will connect, the applications you use, and whether you need video calls, streaming, online learning, cloud applications or business systems. We can help you choose a suitable package based on your expected usage and available coverage.

Does broadband include a router and installation?

Equipment and installation arrangements depend on the selected service and package. Some connections may require a compatible router, an outdoor antenna or professional installation. We will confirm applicable equipment, setup requirements and charges before proceeding.

What affects my internet speed and connection quality?

Network coverage, signal strength, congestion, equipment, obstructions, Wi-Fi placement and the number of connected devices can all affect performance. Advertised or package speeds should not be interpreted as a guarantee of identical performance at every location and time.

02

Managed IT Services & Technical Support

Practical IT assistance for daily operations and business continuity.

What does your Managed IT service cover?

Managed IT support can include troubleshooting, computer and software assistance, device configuration, routine maintenance, connectivity support and help with everyday technology problems. The exact scope depends on the service arrangement agreed with each customer.

Can I request IT support without a long-term contract?

Support may be available on a pay-as-you-go basis, subject to the type of issue and our availability. Ongoing support arrangements can also be discussed for businesses that need more consistent assistance. Contact us to confirm the suitable option.

Do you assist small businesses and organisations?

Yes. Our IT solutions are intended to support homes, small businesses, institutions and other organisations. We focus on practical support that helps customers use their technology more effectively.

Can you help when a computer, printer or network stops working?

We can assess common hardware, software, configuration and connectivity problems and advise on the next steps. The resolution, support method and any applicable fees depend on the issue and whether remote or on-site assistance is required.

Do you provide remote and on-site support?

Remote support may be suitable for issues that can be diagnosed or resolved securely over a connection. On-site support may be necessary for physical equipment, cabling or installation work. Availability depends on the location, issue and agreed service arrangements.

03

Networking Solutions

Connected devices, Wi-Fi, structured cabling and network infrastructure.

What networking solutions do you provide?

Our networking solutions can include router and access point configuration, Wi-Fi setup, local area networking, network equipment installation, connectivity troubleshooting and infrastructure planning. The recommended solution depends on the premises and the customer's requirements.

Can you improve Wi-Fi coverage in my home or office?

We can assess the layout, existing equipment, interference and coverage requirements, then recommend suitable access points, mesh equipment or other improvements where appropriate. Results depend on the building, equipment and network design.

Can you connect multiple offices, rooms or buildings?

Potentially, yes. We can assess the distance, line of sight, cabling possibilities, site conditions and security requirements to recommend a suitable design. A site assessment may be necessary before confirming feasibility and costs.

Do you configure MikroTik and other network equipment?

We provide networking and configuration assistance appropriate to the equipment and project scope. Tell us what devices you use, what you want the network to do and what problem you are experiencing so we can assess the required support.

04

VoIP & Business Communications

Business telephone systems, hosted PBX, IP phones and internet-based calling.

What VoIP services does Eye Intuition offer?

Eye Intuition provides enquiries and solutions for internet-based business communications, including compatible IP desk phones, hosted PBX services, extensions, business telephone numbers, calling packages and configuration. The final service combination depends on your business requirements and the available provider options.

What is VoIP, and how does it work?

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) allows voice calls to travel over an internet or IP network. Instead of relying solely on a traditional telephone line, businesses can use compatible IP phones or supported applications to make and receive calls through a VoIP service.

What is a hosted PBX or cloud PBX?

A hosted PBX is a telephone system managed on a service provider's platform. It can provide business extensions, call routing and other telephone features without requiring the business to operate its own traditional on-site exchange. Available features depend on the selected plan.

Can I get a business telephone number and extensions?

Depending on provider availability, a business may be able to obtain a telephone number and configure one or more extensions for staff or departments. Number availability, portability, extension charges and activation requirements must be confirmed before ordering.

Do I need an IP phone to use VoIP?

Not always. VoIP can work with a compatible IP desk phone, supported softphone application or another approved device. An IP desk phone is often suitable for reception desks, offices and staff who handle regular business calls. Device compatibility should be checked against the chosen provider.

Can Eye Intuition help supply and configure IP phones?

We can discuss suitable IP phone options and configuration requirements for your business. Setup may include connecting the handset to your network and provisioning it for the relevant VoIP or hosted PBX service, subject to device compatibility and provider requirements.

How do VoIP extensions, numbers and calling packages differ?

A telephone number identifies the number people call. An extension identifies a user, handset or destination within a telephone system. A calling package determines how call usage is charged or included. Depending on the provider, these components may be billed separately.

Are incoming calls free with VoIP?

Not necessarily. Some providers charge for incoming calls, outgoing calls, call minutes, numbers or other service components. Charges depend on the provider and plan, so businesses should check both incoming and outgoing call rates and any included-minute conditions before selecting a package.

What happens when my included calling minutes run out?

This depends on the selected package. Additional usage may be billed separately, restricted or handled under the provider's applicable terms. Confirm the included minutes, destinations covered, overage rates and billing increments before activation.

What internet connection do I need for VoIP?

You need a sufficiently reliable connection with suitable bandwidth and network performance. Call quality can be affected by congestion, latency, packet loss, Wi-Fi interference and network configuration. Businesses with several simultaneous calls may need their network assessed before deployment.

Can VoIP support multiple employees or office locations?

A hosted PBX may support multiple extensions and users in one or more locations, depending on the provider and subscription. The required number of extensions, concurrent calls, telephone numbers and features should be established before the system is configured.

Can a business keep its existing telephone number?

Number portability may be possible, but it depends on the number, network, provider and applicable requirements. Existing numbers should not be cancelled until portability and migration arrangements have been confirmed with the relevant providers.

How do I get a VoIP quote?

Tell us how many users or handsets you need, whether you require a new or existing telephone number, how many calls you expect to make and receive, and whether you need extensions or a hosted PBX. We can then help identify a suitable configuration and clarify the applicable equipment, setup and recurring charges.

05

Security & Surveillance

Technology to help monitor, control and protect your premises.

What security and surveillance solutions can I enquire about?

Our security and smart-technology enquiries can cover CCTV surveillance, alarms, access control, intercoms, gate automation, electric fencing, time-and-attendance systems, system integration and maintenance. Availability and the final scope are confirmed for each project.

Can I view CCTV cameras remotely?

Remote viewing may be possible when the camera or recorder, network, app and security settings support it. The setup must be configured appropriately, and reliable remote access depends on internet connectivity and compatible equipment.

Can security systems be combined?

Some systems can be integrated, such as CCTV, access control and intercoms, but compatibility varies by manufacturer and model. We assess the intended functions and equipment before confirming whether integration is practical.

Do you provide maintenance and repairs?

Maintenance or fault-finding may be available depending on the system, site and required work. Contact us with the equipment details, symptoms and location so we can determine the appropriate next step.

Can you recommend a security solution for my premises?

Yes. Share the type of premises, areas to cover, access requirements and any existing equipment. A discussion or site assessment can help determine a practical solution and identify any installation or compatibility considerations.

06

Prepaid Communication Services

Prepaid communication products and SIM-related assistance.

What prepaid communication services do you offer?

We provide prepaid communication service enquiries, including services associated with our authorised reseller or agent arrangements. Available products, network options, prices and transaction requirements depend on the service in question.

Can you assist with SIM card registration or RICA?

SIM registration assistance may be available through our authorised RICA agent arrangement, subject to the applicable network's requirements and verification process. Customers must provide the required documentation and information. Registration is not guaranteed until the relevant checks are completed.

What should I bring for SIM registration?

Requirements can vary by network and transaction. You should be prepared to provide the prescribed identity document and proof of address or other required information, where applicable. Please confirm the current requirements with us before visiting.

Can I ask about a specific network or prepaid product?

What do hosting and digital services include?

Can you help my business get a website or domain?

Contact us with your business requirements and whether you already own a domain or website. We can discuss the appropriate next steps for the digital service you need, subject to the services currently available.

Do hosting services include website maintenance?

Can you assist with an existing website?

We can discuss your existing website, hosting setup and the problem or improvement you need. Any work will depend on platform access, technical requirements, ownership permissions and the agreed project scope.

What is included in an IT or telecoms consultation?

A consultation can help clarify your technology requirements, review current challenges and explore suitable options for connectivity, IT support, networking, communications or security. The scope depends on the question or project you bring to us.

Can you help plan technology for a new business or office?

Yes. We can discuss your premises, number of users, connectivity needs, devices, communications and security requirements. Recommendations depend on the budget, site conditions and services or equipment suitable for the project.

Do you assist schools, institutions and student residences?

We welcome enquiries from schools, institutions, student residences, accommodation providers and other organisations. We can discuss practical requirements such as broadband, Wi-Fi coverage, networking, IT support and security, subject to feasibility and service availability.

How do I request a quote or assessment?

Contact us with your location, the service you need, the number of users or devices involved and any relevant deadlines. For installations or larger projects, additional information or a site assessment may be needed before a quote can be prepared.
